With everyone from Game of Throne's Arya to real life's LeBron James joining the fight in MultiVersus, it feels like anyone could be added next. But fans seem to have their heart on one character in particular: Walter White from Breaking Bad. And now, it seems like this isn't the overly ambitious suggestion we once thought it was.

Senior character artist for MultiVersus Dan Eder has told fans he "would not say no" to seeing Walter join the fight. This comes as fans wage a very shitpost-y campaign to get the drug manufacturer in MultiVersus, having put together a mock up for what he'd look like in the game's cartoon style.

Responding to one of the many posts that call on devs to add Walter White to the game, Eder expresses his support for the idea. "As a massive Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fan, I would not say no to this", he says, reiginating hope for many.

The tweet was, very fittingly, sent in reply to the Twitter user "Walter White For MultiVersus". It's probably fair to say that this news made their day. It isn't even the only interaction the user has had with the MultiVersus team, with the game's director Tony Huynh also congratulating the user on their account's success.

Say what you want about the Walter White for MultiVersus campaign, you can't deny their dedication. As we covered recently, they've already put Walter in the game, kinda. Game Banana user JakeBanana release a mod that gives Shaggy a new Heisenberg skin, letting you experience the pure tonal whiplash in all its glory. However, if the support from devs is anything to go by, we might not actually need the mod for much longer.

MultiVersus' open beta is available to play now on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
